BRIGANDINE ABYSS Equipment Guide
Treasure exploration, Stronghold Lv3 drops, and how to equip your knights for hex battles.
Equipment in BRIGANDINE ABYSS is not bought from a shop during Invasion. It drops from treasure exploration at Stronghold rank 3, it is purchased from Niffrom’s Market during Organization, and it is earned from quests. This page covers the three real acquisition paths, what the confirmed equipment categories are, and how to schedule gear upgrades around class-change items and material runs.
This page does not invent stat bonuses. No public source has published exact ATK, DEF, or HP values for every named weapon and armor piece. What is documented is which categories exist, which Strongholds drop which types, and how the three acquisition paths relate to each other.
Pair this page with Stats for how Command Points and Rally traits interact with gear, and with Base Building for why Strongholds at rank 3 are the gear floor.
Three acquisition paths
Niffrom’s Market (Organization Phase). While leaders are at home during Organization, you can buy materials and pre-made gear directly from Niffrom’s Market. This is the fastest acquisition path for basic equipment. It does not require Stronghold rank. It does not give you the best items in the game — it gives you what you can afford immediately while your treasury is still small.
Quest rewards. Leaders on expeditions return with materials shops do not stock, class-change items for the level 20 gate, and sometimes named equipment. A leader on a quest cannot defend or Invasion. Schedule gear-bearing quests around the Event Battle calendar the same way you schedule class-change item runs. The Quests and Training page has the scheduling logic.
Treasure exploration (Stronghold Lv3). This is the source of the best equipment. Develop any Stronghold to rank 3, then run the third treasure exploration option. Different Strongholds drop different equipment types. kamigame.jp’s database lists confirmed Stronghold-to-equipment mappings. The rule is: if you want a specific best-in-slot piece, check which Stronghold drops it before you spend materials developing the wrong castle.
Equipment categories
kamigame.jp’s database confirms the following categories, consistent with what h1g.jp’s 365-plus-page wiki and Game8’s launch coverage describe:
Weapons. Swords, lances, axes, and ranged options. The category most directly affects a knight’s attack output. Weapons from treasure exploration at Stronghold Lv3 are the highest-tier versions.
Armor. Body protection that affects DEF and HP. Armor quality rises with Stronghold rank. Rank 3 treasure exploration is the ceiling for what the game drops without quest gating.
Accessories. Rings, amulets, and similar slots that provide passive bonuses. Some accessories modify Rally traits, movement, or elemental resistances. Accessories from treasure exploration are the most varied category in terms of passive effects.
Consumables and materials. Not equipment per se, but Niffrom’s Market and quest rewards also supply the crafting and upgrade materials that let you enhance gear over time. Materials flow is a seasonal concern; treat it the same way you treat Command Point budgets.
How to use Stronghold rank 3 treasure exploration
Rank 3 is not automatic. Base Building is a seasonal investment of money and materials. kamigame.jp notes that the third treasure exploration option unlocks only after you have developed the Stronghold to level 3. That investment competes with class-change item quests, mercenary hiring, and dragon or unicorn roster fills.
The practical habit: pick two or three Strongholds as your permanent gear farms, develop them to rank 3 over the first ten to fifteen seasons, and rotate the third exploration slot across them when you need a specific drop. Do not try to rank up every castle you capture — that is how Gran Dragnica’s dragon core stalls while you are spreading materials across a wide empire.
Equipment and the squad budget
Gear bought from Niffrom’s Market during Organization comes out of the same treasury that pays for mercenary hires and summons. Treasure exploration costs materials, not gold, which means a well-run Stronghold can supply gear while the treasury funds new bodies. These two economies do not compete directly, but both consume Organization time and leader attention.
Class-change items at level 20 are a different budget. Do not spend materials on treasure exploration for a knight who is still three levels away from the promotion gate. Send them on the item quest first; farm gear after the promotion is locked in.
For the combat effect of gear in hex battles — accuracy, damage, encirclement, and the extra action economy — use Combat Tips and Rally System. This page only establishes which paths actually deliver gear, and which Strongholds drop which named categories.
What this wiki will not invent
There is no confirmed public spreadsheet listing every equipment piece’s exact stat bonuses, upgrade costs, and inheritance rules. kamigame.jp’s database is the most detailed public source as of September 2026. This page cites confirmed categories and acquisition rules. If a video thumbnail says “All Best Equipment Listed — +50 ATK Sword,” treat it as unverified unless kamigame.jp or h1g.jp confirms it by name and Stronghold location.
